I know you can type the list in cells in Microsoft spread sheets. But I have a list over 100 and I need to put it in alphabetical order. Is there anyway I can redo this without re-typing every single name?

Yes, and it's easy.
Open the document containing the list. If it includes anything other than the list, select the list.
Click on Table, then Sort.

select your settings and click alphabetize
now copy that list and paste it into your document
