How do you make the pictures on Microsoft Powerpoint have different animations than the text on that slide?
The pictures are animated using the same method as the text.

1. Select the picture by clicking it.

2. Right click on the picure to activate the "Custom Animation" task pane.

3. Click the "Add Effect" button and then choose and Entrance animation.

4. Modify how you want to the animation to Appear. (E.g., On Click, with previous, after previous.)

5. Viola! done.

Using PowerPoint 2007...

1. Place your images into the slide.

2. Click on the picture object.

3. Click on the "Animations" grouping in the "Ribbon." (What used to be called the taskbar is now called a Ribbon.)

4. Click on "Custom Animation" in the group.

5. A "Custom Animation" task pane opens up on the right side of the window.

6. Click on "Add Effect" in the task pane and choose an animation for the picture object.

7. You can modify animation settings for each object (Pictures, Text, Shape, etc.) by right clicking on the corresponding animation in the Custom Animation task pane.
