How to Make Calenders on Microsoft Word?
I used to know how to make calenders on microsoft word. I know how to use the table and set that up. Though i do not know how many rows and columns to use.

You can get Calendar templates from Microsoft. Go into Help in Word and search for Calendar. If the Help system can connect to the internet, it should give a options for various template files that you can download for different calendars (click the link in the Help list for a preview).
In Word 2003 there is also the option to insert a calendar object (on the Insert menu, choose Object and select the Calendar Control option). That seems to insert an object that could act as an interactive date selector.

Save it but as a "Webpage" instead of a normal Publisher file.
Once saved you will get a webpage and a file full of pics and stuff.
All you do now is save these files in the root of your website host or FTP.

What is the difference between Microsoft component cables and Gamestop's MadCatz Component Cables?
I have recently bought an xbox 360, sadly with no hdmi, so I want the best quality picture as I can get out of my xbox 360, but is there a difference between them? I have the madcatz cable for my ps2 and xbox 360 and it looks amazing already, will it look better with the Microsoft component cables? also, is there a way to convert the component signal to an hdmi one?

Although there are HDMI converter boxes, they are a waste of money. You are getting an analogue signal from the component cable, wich is then digitized by the converter box. So this is *not* the original digital signal that would have come from a HDMI Xbox.
Basically, what you TV is doing before it displays the image on its screen (converting the analogue input to a digital image for the screen) is done by the box beforehand. And often, this is going to be worse than the TV internal processing.
So external component to HDMI boxes are a waste of money.

While working on a lengthy document, Microsoft Word continually tries to tab over automatically, which is creating some real headaches. Certain lines following the beginning of a new paragraph also seem to automatically indent or tab over as well. Any suggestions?

You've got some paragraph style problems. Not too difficult to fix.
1. Click in a paragraph (doesn't have to be actually selected, just click in it) you want to fix.
2. Right-click and select Paragraph from the pop-up menu.
3. Play with the parameters in the Indentation section, especially the Special list box. I think you want "(none)".
4. Click OK.
The above will correct that paragraph alone. To correct all other paragraphs in the document with that same style, do this INSTEAD of the above. (This assumes Word XP (2002) or 2003. Maybe 2000 also.)

If companies like Sony and Microsoft lower their consoles down to about $150 they could sell more than they bargained for and make lots of money especially with the problems the 360 had like the ring of fire.

sorry mine had a bad battery and it was only a month old and they would not replace it even though they say it has a year of warranty and yet i also paid for the extended but they still want fix it instead they give you excuses like let the battery die down all the way and then charge it fully and that should fix it but it don't and they make stupid excuses.
this is why i ditched my zune and started buying ipods

I'm running a cybercafé. Some my clients say that when they use Microsoft Word on one of my workstations said that the computer suddenly, and without warning, restarts causing their 1-hour typed document go to waste in just a flash. Is there some mumbo-jumbo happening behind of what has done to the poor guy or has he just pushed a secret hotkey in the Windows interface that I didn't knew of?

Yes, you can run Office 2003 on Vista, and no you don't have to buy it again. Use your disk the program came on to install it on the new system. You will need to remove it from the old one though, unless you have a license which allows for multiple systems to run the program as I do. My Office 2003 comes with a three system license, which is really nice.
Now, if you run into any issues while using Office 2003 on Vista, just run it in Compatibility Mode. Right click the program icon, select Properties from the shortcut menu, and on the Properties dialog box that opens click on the Compatibility Tab. On that tab you can set whichever options you need. The main option will be to click the drop down menu at the top and select Windows XP.
If you bought your system and Office came preinstalled, and your computer manufacturer did not send the Office 2003 disk, you may have to contact either the computer manufacturer or Microsoft. Your computer manufacturer should have sent you a CD which the files for the programs are stored on. On the outside case of the CD is a Product Code, you will need to put the Product Code into the setup when instructed during installation.
Again, if for some reason you received this as a trial software package, and then purchased a key when the trial was over, and you lost that key, contact Microsoft to get your key. If your computer manufacturer preinstalled it when you bought your system, (when you purchased Office and they installed it for you before shipping) you should have a CD that come with your system.

I got one and it's pretty good (I don't have I pod just a little mp3 player by coby) the transmitter plugs into the earphone jack of the mp3 or the dvd player, then you choose the station on the transmitter and your car stereo and you have sound. I love it. hope this helps

How can I delete the files left over from my Microsoft OneCare disaster?
I downloaded the trial copy of Microsoft OneCare and installed it on my computer. It destroyed my copy of Windows XP and I had to reinstall XP. It left a copy of my files in a backup folder and I can't delete some of the OneCare program files. I can't run uninstall because it's not in Add Remove Programs anymore. I manually deleted most of the files but a few are still locked up. It can't be running because the dlls are long gone. How can I delete the rest of these files?

okay, u can't do what u asked, but try this. Move the folder location to the desktop, restart ur comp, then open the one care folder and rename all the files, restart ur comp again and then delete the files

Each month I add $400 and 5% interest is paid on the total amount. I continue to do this for 10 years. Here is how I have been figuring it with a pen and paper:
Balance plus $400 times interest equals new balance
($200 + $400) 1.05= $630
($630 + $400) 1.05= $1081.50
($1081.50 + $400) 1.05= $1555.58
Can also be done like this:
($200 + $400) x .05= $30 then $30 + $600= $630

Two ways depending if you need to know the value at each increment:
The long way is to enter the formula you are writing on paper and then pull the formula down until you reach 10 years. If you're not familar with excel, it's hard to explain how to set it up without showing you.
Basically, the cell formula would look like this:
cell a1: =(200 + 400)*1.05
cell a2: =(a1 + 400)*1.05
Now, copy cell a2 and pull it down until you reach the period for 10 yrs.
Or you could use the future value function (FV). If you type in =FV( then excel will prompt you for the rest of the information for the formula. This is the easiest way and can be done in one cell. So, your formula would be =FV(5%, 120, -400, -200, 1).

Rate: I am assuming your stated 5% interest rate was an annual interest rate, that is, 5% per year. Since your payments are monthly, you will need to divide this rate by the 12 months in a year, hence, "rate=5%/12".

The long way is to enter the formula you are writing on paper and then pull the formula down until you reach 10 years. If you're not familar with excel, it's hard to explain how to set it up without showing you.
Basically, the cell formula would look like this:
cell a1: =(200 + 400)*1.05
cell a2: =(a1 + 400)*1.05
Now, copy cell a2 and pull it down until you reach the period for 10 yrs.
Or you could use the future value function (FV). If you type in =FV( then excel will prompt you for the rest of the information for the formula. This is the easiest way and can be done in one cell. So, your formula would be =FV(5%, 120, -400, -200, 1).
