I am trying to calculate Microsoft's earnings per share. I can't seem to find how many shares they have outstanding in order to calculate it.
How many shares of Microsoft Inc. are outstanding?
Look down the right side where it says shares outstanding. You could also look on their last quarterly report. But you may come up with a different answer from what you find elsewhere. Because it may include diluted EPS. That accounts for convertibles and unexercised options that can be turned into stock.
