Everytime (and I mean EVERYTIME) I write a document using Microsoft Word, I save it and then it just transfers to WordPad. This bugs me because WordPad just feels so different. I need help!

Try this: Open an Explorer window by going to My Documents or wherever you store your documents. Right click on one and choose Open With... Then pick Word out of the list and select Always use this program to open this type of document. Hit OK and see if it works.
