Can your computer restart unexpectedly by just your typing on Microsoft Word?

I'm running a cybercafé. Some my clients say that when they use Microsoft Word on one of my workstations said that the computer suddenly, and without warning, restarts causing their 1-hour typed document go to waste in just a flash. Is there some mumbo-jumbo happening behind of what has done to the poor guy or has he just pushed a secret hotkey in the Windows interface that I didn't knew of?

It could be a complex situation and a myriad of possible problems. Make sure you have updated everything and set word to save every five minutes, there is a combination of keystrokes that will restart a machine but it doesn't matter if using word or any other program. turn off any keyboard shortcuts, update the OS and programs, and set the program to autosave every five minutes....that way if it does happen again, you can at least get back up to the last save of whatever they were working on.
Reply:Is it just shutting off and then restarting? It might be a hardware problem - a bad power supply, a broken fan making the CPU overheat, etc.
Reply:no
Reply:It has happened to me. Apparently a certain combination of key strokes in Word will do this. I began keeping all my Microsoft programs updated and the problem seems to have gone away.
