Should I get 1600 Microsoft points or the play and charge kit?

I have a gift card and I want to get either 1600 microsoft points or the play and charge kit for my controller. Right now I have to put AA batteries into my controller, so I guess it would be kind of nice to be able to stop buying so many batteries. But is it really worth it? Or should I stick with getting microsoft points and get some map packs or expansions?

Get the charge kit you will never have to buy batteries and avoid your controller not dying at a crucial point in a game( I HATE THAT!!!)
Reply:instead of getting the charge and play kit you can get rechargeable batteries and a charger for like 10 bucks, and then you can just charge the batteries when they die, its what i got and it does just as good
