How do you zip a folder using Microsoft Vista?


I have about 50 pictures I want to send via e-mail and don't know how to zip it using Vista.

Right click on the folder %26gt;%26gt; send to %26gt;%26gt; compressed folder.
Reply:Start up your compression program and "zip" 'em to a folder name of your choice.





REMEMBER: Zipping graphics, photos and music files do NOT compress well.





It may not be worth the headache and ya gotta be sure that your recipient knows how to "unzip".





Why not an email message and include the photos as "attachments"?





It takes a bit more work but there is less chance of error and you can send as many as you wish at one time to check the result first.
