I've gotten the 3 flashing red lights twice in less than six months. What do you suppose my chances are the Microsoft will just give me a voucher or something for me to just get a new one altogether?

You have a 0% of getting a new 360. All MS will do is put in an extra heat sink.
Reply:simple way to get one. i actually got accesories for mine by doing this.
1.place it on a table about 5 feet in the air. put it close to the edge.
2. place your foot, cat, or younger brother under the table.
3. accidently knock it off.
4. cause damage to self, poor thing it dropped on, floor, or 360 itself.
5. send letter to microsoft claiming their system to be unsafe, discribe the damages, and demand it fixed or a new one to replace it.
(or you can just send it in again and see if it comes back fixed XD)
Reply:They will not give out a "free xbox" ever.
They may take it in and replaced the damaged parts but the chances of that are slim to none unless your still under warrenty or have Proof of Purchase.
Maybe you should just get a Ps3 or something i heared that they only have a .7% failiure rate compared to the Xbox at a 33.3% failure rate :)
Reply:after the third time you send in your 360 then they will send you a brand new one. because mircosoft knew that they would have problems with the overheated xboxs so once your 1 year runs out. xbox has a 3 year warranty for the red rings if you have live hit me up c00terj gamertag

you might think about a cooler or not playing it 24/7
