When installing the new version of microsoft office is it needed to uninstall the old version?

If not, is microsoft allow me to install my old version on another pc?

It overwrites the existing version of Office. You should be able to install the other version on a different computer.





Have you used the new version of Office? I hate it. You might want to try a trial version first.
Reply:probably not, it should do it during installation, but to be safe, it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and uninstall it,you wont lose any documents
Reply:If its an org version you should be able to install on another computer. Office does not necessary update on future versions
Reply:Nope everything should go as planned and it should uninstall it during the installation of 2007 ive got about 5 different office suit's on my computer all running at one time to experiment and test things for people etc and that was done with abit of tricky maneuvering etc totally illeagle but that don't matter lmao





you wont lose files due to its uninstallation they will just appear as a Rich Text Document and you probably wont be able to open them until 2007 is installed.
