How can I put Microsoft Works back on my computer?

While in my add and remove programs I deleted the Microsoft works by mistakes.I need that back on my computer.Can anyone answer that qusetion for me ?

Your computer almost certainly came with a couple CD's - one of them should be the software that came pre-installed, usually including Works. Try that, and if not, you can probably get a CD or download from the computer manufacturer, if you have registered the computer with them.
Reply:You can try to retrieve them from the recycle bin.If they are still in the recycle bin, go in the bin and select them and then click restore.





If they are not in the recycle bin, you will have to reinstall thenm with a disk. If you do not have the disk, you will have to purchase the disks.
Reply:if you still have the software CD's that came with your computer then all you have to do is find the CD and reinstall it....
Reply:If M$ Works is not in the recycle bin,I would try to do a System Restore.


At least that would save all your settings.


If that does'n't work,you will have to reinstall.





BTW,there are several ways to start System Restore,


but one way is to go to Start %26gt; Run and type in the box:


C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe


Provided SR has been activated,you'll have several dates to choose from.


PS the last entry is rstrui.exe


This forum has the annoying habit of cutting the ends of system file paths :(
