I have windows movie maker and everything else instead of microsoft powerpoint. How come it's not already on my computer? Is it supposed to be?

Reply:Because you have to purchase Microsoft Office. Powerpoint is part of the MS Office suite. Very few computers ship with it installed since it adds several hundred dollars to the cost of teh computer. If you want to buy a PC with Office installed, you generally have to custom order it from someplace like Gateway or Dell. Most computers sold in stores don't even have it as an option. You can also download OpenOffice, which is a free, legal, open source office application with the same functionality as MS Office. It can also open documents created by MS Office and save in the same format.
