I use Microsoft Money to manage finances on my PC, but I'd like to transfer it to my laptop. The program is not installed on the laptop, though.
How do I do this? I realize it is probably simple, but I just don't know how to do it.
Thanks.
How do I get my Microsoft Money program from my PC to my laptop?
You will need to dig out your original software that came on a CD. Now install this on your laptop. Once installed you should be able to burn a backup of the data files located on your PC onto a blank CD. Now transfer the backup to the correct folder on your laptop.

Reply:Back up your files. If you have the MMoney discs install them on the new PC, copy your personal files (flash drive should work) and move those to the new PC, then uninstall on the old PC. If MMoney says sorry, can't install it twice, then be sure to have multiple copies of your personal files before you uninstall from the old PC.
