How exactly can I configurate windows vista to run microsoft office 2003?

My system won't run the program, I wanna install it to do my cv, for most people couldn't open it if I do it in Microsoft works, for not everyone has windows vista yet, especially not William Hill and other companies like that. Anyone who knows how to configurate the system to run Microsoft Office 2003?

(It's a copy from a mate as well...)

How exactly can I configurate windows vista to run microsoft office 2003?
yes you need to check to see if it works with vista. considering that its the 2003 version i would say its not compatible but the 2007 is compatible with vista. now listen to this do not try to run vista on your system if you purchased it with vista already installed it will give you nothing but problems (it did for me anyway) it was not designed for xp i suggest you find the newer version of office if you need help with this just message me and i will be glad to point you in the right direction (evil laugh) if you know what i mean.....

You will, possibly, need to update Office 2003: and download SP3 as i think this is supposed to resolve some compatibility issues.

I only use XP and Office 2003, because Office 2007, i find, is so full of padding and unnecessary nonsense it takes you a while to figure out how to do the same task as straight forward as you would do in Office 2003.
Reply:You put the CD in and install it. There is absolutely nothing else you need to do, Office 2003 works just fine in Vista.

End of story.
Reply:See first of all many of the softwares are not compatible with windows VISTA.......

Just check whether the Office is compatible tih VISTA or not!!

But Better use WIN Xp!!

ITs da best!!.............
Reply:Vista only runs Office 2007, no way around that. Office 2003 can open 2007 text files, so get your dodgey mate to aquire a copy of 2007?
