How much is microsoft word when you buy it on the internet? How much is it when you buy it in a store? Which do you recommend and if it's cheaper in a store what store should I get it at?
I mainly just want the Office PowerPoint and the Office Word.
How much is Microsoft Word when you buy it online?
Have you heard of OpenOffice? It's free and it's cross-compatible with the Microsoft Word files (it'll open them, and it can save them in the Microsoft formats but won't unless you tell it to).
The OpenOffice slideshow presentation app is called "Impress" and the word processor is called "Writer". (Yeah, kind of hokey if you ask me, but Microsoft had the trademarks on "PowerPoint" and "Word"...)

Reply:It looks like you would want the Home and student edition, which can run you about $150
Reply:$300-400, if you get the office. If you go to college, you could probably buy it from the school for at least 40 bucks
Reply:All right so you want the home and student version
Download costs ($149.95 with serials of course)
and you can also get it sent from the microsoft website.
