Is there something we users can do to save Yahoo from being bought by Microsoft?

I'm a Google person. But I still like Yahoo and use a lot the Answers and MyYahoo page.





Regardless of weather you like Microsoft or not or weather you think this is a good thing or not :





What can we users do to help Yahoo ?


Will putting my home page Yahoo and searching Yahoo instead of Google help ? And if we all did that ? Will that be meaningful enough so that their market value will substantially increase to get Microsoft of their back ?

In reality, nothing. Theoretically, Microsoft is buying you. By using Yahoo, you are creating utility for Microsoft. Ironically, if you stopped using Yahoo! you make it less attractive and ruin Yahoo at the same time.
Reply:What's the difference? Your choice of a large uncaring mega-corporation like Microsoft, or a semi-large uncaring mega-corporation like Yahoo? Neither one gives a flying f about you or me.
Reply:I own shares of Microsoft and I'm not so sure the staff at Yahoo Q/A is as professional as they would lead people to believe. And when the final shoe drops someone at Q/A will be cleaning out their cubical..........Tee Hee........:)
