When I enter a website into Microsoft word, it turns blue and becomes a link you can click on. How do I keep it from doing that? I need it to stay black.
How do you keep a website from becoming a link in Microsoft Word?
To prevent it from happening in the first place, do this (Windows XP (2002) and adjacent versions. Word Vista (2007) probably has something similar):
1. Click the Tools-%26gt;Autocorrect Options menu item.
2. Click the Autoformat tab.
3. Under Replace, deselect Internet and Network paths with hyperlinks.
4. Click OK.
That should do it.
Reply:Right click | Remove Hyperlink.
