I am getting a fly fusion for my birthday and want to use it to take notes and then print them out by converting them into a document but I don't have microsoft word on my computer, I do have microsoft works, and it has a word processor! Can I use microsoft works or do I have to use microsoft word? PLEASE HELP!
When converting something from your fly fusion into a document can you use microsoft works?
the short answer is yes! heres the long answer...
According to their web site, the Fly Fusion takes whatever you write down and puts it on your computer as a picture file. Then you would use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to convert that picture to test, which can be used with any word processor!
Word costs a lot, but everyone uses Word files (.doc), so thats what you should use in case you need to email someone a document. If you're broke, like me, I would use a free alternative, such as OpenOffice, which can save files as .doc
Reply:You do need to have Word in order to convert to a document, but you do not need word to convert to text. So you can simply convert to text right from Flyworld application.
Fly does not really use OCR but something similar.
