What security settings can I change in order to type emails in Microsoft Outlook Web Access?

I have a Microsoft Outlook Web Access account that I log into for work. However, since I got my new laptop, I have not been able to type messages when I log into my account from my laptop. I get logged into the account and when I get ready to send a new message there is a red (x) in the section where you would type the message. This is not a problem with my desktop pc as it works fine and allows me to type and send messages from the desktop. The only problem is it won't let me type anything in the message body when I log into the account from my laptop. Is there a security setting that I need to change in order to correct this issue?

Your probably missing one of three programs needed to use MSOutlook Web. Since I don't use that program, I'm not sure which one you are missing...

1. Update Java http://www.java.com

2. Adobe Flash Player : http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplaye...

3. Adobe Shockwave Player found here : http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/
Reply:is your account info right in outlook?
Reply:I'm assuming your new machine has Vista. The problem is not on your laptop, the issue is with the email server.

Microsoft changed how OWA worked with Vista and this requires a hotfix be install on the Exchange server.

The hotfix can be acquired here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

You might want to contach your helpdesk to make sure they are aware of this issue.
