Any one know the codes how to make an down arrow with microsoft word. If any one knew a chart with the codes on them for different arrows that would be great! :)

How to make down arrows with microsoft word?
You can go to "Insert" "Symbol" and then find the arrows in that list.

It should also tell you the code for it when you click on the arrow.
Reply:This should work in any Windows word processor, text editor, browser or email client.

1.Make sure your keyboard is in NumLock mode.

2.Hold down the ALT key and enter the three-digit number on the numeric keypad. (Note that many laptops have a blue FN key that changes a set of keys, also with blue numbers on them, into a numeric keypad.)

for ↓ enter 25

for ↑ enter 24

for → enter 26

for ← enter 27

for ↔ enter 29

for ↨ enter 23 (this one should have a line at the bottom)

for ↕ enter 18

Hope that helps.
Reply:If you want a keyboard down arrow, check to see if you have the font called "Wingdings 3" and then select it and choose a lowercase letter i. Or type the lowercase i and then highlight it and choose the wingding 3 font. The winding 3 font has many different types of arrows across the middle row of the keyboard (asdfg.....)

Of course, if you are in Excel 2003 and you have the Drawing Toolbar on, there is an icon that lets you draw arrows in any which way. If the drawing toolbar is not on, go to the top menu bar and click on "view", then "toolbars" and then click on drawing (if it is already active there would be a checkmark next to the menu item).

Hope this helps.
