What markets are microsoft involved in?

I'm comparing the markets of Apple and Microsoft and found the following information about Apple "The Company's customers are primarily in the education, creative professional, consumer, and business markets." But I can't find any information on Microsoft. Even a search of there site results in masses of irrelevant info. Does anybody know where I can find this information?

What markets are microsoft involved in?
business, home and gamers. It is in there web site you need to look more.
Reply:I TOLD YOU

its a professional catering service for hotels in brighton! lol
Reply:Start at the beginning: What does Microsoft make?

I'll give you a clue - It's mainly software and there is more than one product.

Which of their products sells most and brings in most of their profits? You probably use it.

Who buys that product?

Who buys their other products?

Suggestion: don't get bogged down in the DETAIL of Microsoft's product range. You might find that many software applications are 'add-ons' for bigger products.

Supposing I were to suggest that their customers include:

consumers

businesses (large and small)

local councils

government departments

educational establishments

Now could you go back to Microsoft's web site and make more sense of it? Could you go to other sources on the internet for information about Microsoft? For example, there has been long running legal action in the European courts so lots of relevant information will have been reported in the press and reproduced on the internet.

Good luck.
