It is never true when they say Microsoft will give you anything for free or you won anything from them.





Microsoft has not become a successful corporation by giving stuff away for free. They just don't need to. They produce high quality stuff that customers like and are willing to pay for.





So as a rule, a company that does well, never gives away stuff for free - at least nothing of significant value. They may open charities and foundations - but those bring them back tremendous goodwill.
Reply:Beware... There's tons of spam out there. Microsoft does not solicit people via e-mail so if you have received an e-mail implying you won something from Microsoft... consider it SPAM. You can bet it's not from Microsoft if the sender's e-mail address is not from Microsoft.com.
