How to I set up my linux computer to access a microsoft exchange server?

I am using Fedora and am unable to figure out how set up my evolution e-mail program with the microsoft exchange server at work can anyone help me? In the past I have set it up for accessing a POP server but can't figure this problem out :-(

I'm guessing you are at home and trying to access the work's email server? Have you done this before with an MS computer? Is the server behind a firewall or Virtual Private Network (VPN) which prevents external access oe only allows restricted access? Will your boss let you take your PC into work to set it up there (under the auspices of the IT department. I bet they're all geeks who like a challenge. Never met an IT dept that wasn't)? Do you actually know the company's email server's name (it might not be pop.companyname.com)?





So many questions in return but we need more info with which to give you proper help.
